About Us

Our story

The Bully Ohana is a family ran American Bully breeder and kennel based out of Southern Oregon. It was never the intention to become breeders. We had just purchased our home and Jason wanted a "real dog". Jason’s last time having a dog was an English Bulldog 13 years prior. One of his closest friends, whom passed away, had bullies. Jason was always enamored by the breed and wanted to get one in honor of him. We acquired our first bully and during the purchasing process the breeder tried to convince Jason to breed. He still was not interested and we brought home Miss. Lilo as our first family pet. A few months later Jason got bored being a stay at home dad and began researching the breed in depth. That was the beginning of our journey. We acquired our next bully with the intent of breeding, therefore we sought out a quality pup with a solid pedigree, and started networking within the community.

The Bully Ohana difference

What separates us from other American Bully breeders, is our vibe. We are from the islands so aloha and being pono are main pillars in our program. We believe in supporting, uplifting, and sharing our knowledge with the bully community. If you scroll our instagram you'll find tips and tricks, educational posts, inspirational quotes, common struggles, cute puppies,  funny reels, and of course our pack. Anyone that invests in our program becomes a part of our ohana, hence our name 'The Bully Ohana'

Our puppies are raised in our home using puppy culture systems. They are handled by both adults and children.

A Furever Friend

An American bully makes an excellent family companion.

Exceptionally devoted and loyal, bullies are focused on pleasing their owners, eager to learn and highly trainable. They're gentle and affectionate with children, amiable with family friends and even tolerant of strangers. As guardians, they're intelligent, stable, alert and quite capable of defending their homes and families.

American Bullies were created to become the ultimate family dog in the late 1900s by years of selective breeding between American pit bull terrier and American Staffordshire terrier, or with bull-dog breeds.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We currently have a waitlist. Interviews are conducted on potential clients. When a litter is born we contact those on our waitlist and provide updates.  At five weeks we have puppy picking day and you are able to place a deposit on a specific dog, or be rolled over to a future litter.

Prices vary from litter to litter. Our prices range from 5k to 20k plus. Solid colors start at 5k, tris start 7k, and merles start at 10k. There are many factors that go into the pricing of the pups.

The Bully Ohana puppies are raised in our home using puppy culture and early neurological stimulation. They begin potty training at 3 weeks of age. Betwenn 8-10 weeks puppies are rehomed. Prior to delivery they are vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and vet checked. The puppy can be picked up directly from us or they are sent to your nearest airport via flight nanny service.  30 days of pet insurance is provided on delivery day. We are available for mentorship and questions for the life of your pet.

Kapono is our only working stud at the moment, his stud fee is currently at $3500.

We do not offer paid mentorship outside of those who purchase a puppy from our program or use our stud. There is free information and educational posts on our instagram account @thebullyohana.
